Lobo Academy Grand Opening
This upcoming weekend, there will be a rare 5 black belt seminar for the grand opening of the Lobo Academy in Clackamas Oregon. It’s a 2 day seminar, featuring BJJ legends Relson Gracie, Rey Diogo, Luis Heredia, Pedro Sauer, and Anibal Lobo. I will be attending both days, and spending the night at the Clackamas Hampton Inn, if anyone cares to join me. Although originally tentative on attending this seminar (only because I am traveling next weekend as well), I think it’s a rare opportunity for historic Gracie Jiu Jitsu training.

Hello my friend from along time ago! This is a great news as I am looking for a place to train BJJ again after relocating to Portland from San Jose a few years ago. I used to train at Claudio Franca’s academy and remember rolling with you Roy many times when you stopped by to visit from time to time during the years of 1999-2002. It is so nice to see you relocated to Bend and I look forward to seeing you again, maybe you will remember me. Your website is so unique and refreshing, thanks for so much effort and sharing your personal history, it is fascinating.
