The Evolution of Brown Belt Requirements
Brown Belt Requirements continues to evolve. A 3 DVD set, discs 2 and 3 are complete, and disc 1 continues to be polished and refined. These things take time. I’ll also be including an audio CD, “Extended Meditations” which can be listened or rolled to. I am getting excited about releasing it, since it’s unlike any instructional DVD I’ve ever seen. Coming in March of 2012.
This is huge! Any chance of a release-day party or seminar?

I echo the sentiments of the folks above. Your DVDs, along with your online material, have been a huge help in both technique and mindset. I remember watching some of your early videos when I first got involved with BJJ and often go back and watch Jimmy’s demonstation video for his purple belt. The DVDs pretty much match the rate I’m progressing, so it’s been a cathartic experience in viewing them and getting some insight into your academy’s approach to things.
I’ve been blessed to have a phenomenal instructor and mentor in D Davis, down here in San Diego at Primal Jiu Jitsu. If you folks find yourself spending a few days or a week in sunny SD, you should make it a point to come on in to Primal and roll with us. It’s a truly exciting place to train and grow.
