Silverback Seminar 2011

Some of the Silverback crew post seminar. 2 hours of instruction, 30 minutes Q & A, then 25 minutes of rolling.
It was a fantastic seminar weekend in Chantilly, Virginia as I revisiting Silverback Academy. Headed up by Sean Stoopman, Silverback teaches BJJ and Krav Maga in a fun and safe environment. The entire Silverback crew was tight knit and extremely welcoming. Sean and his lovely girlfriend Megan played perfect hosts, and I was fortunate enough to have exquisite lunch and dinner company over the weekend. The progress that Sean and assistant instructor Adam Munzig have shown is impressive, and each are on track for the next level. There are some big changes coming for Silverback, including a new location, and the momentum is palpable. I am inspired to give even more to my affiliates, and be there for them when they want to take their school to the next level, as well as venture into the world of media, DVDs, and apps.
Thank you very much for the amazing knowledge you passed on, we were extremely happy with the seminar and training we got in, I can’t wait to make it out to Bend in the next couple months and catch up with everyone out there! All the advice on BJJ as well as running the school, growth and of course media was absolutely invaluable

Wish, I could have been there….my operation on my shoulder got moved to Nov. 11 and I got a cortisone shot in my shoulder to hold me over. Glad, the seminar went well and your school is doing well.

This was an awesome seminar and I am happy I was able to make it. Instruction was wonderful of course and the people at the seminar were all great partners! I enjoyed working out with the great folks at Silverback as well as people from surrounding schools. Great seeing you again Sensei Dean and I look forward to being on the mat again in the future! I look forward to trying some of the triangle setups. I know there are several problem areas there that I have new insight on now. Thanks again!
