Please help me in congratulating Rick Ellis on his recent promotion to purple belt.  Rick showcased a wide palette of techniques, and tremendous heart against some skilled players during the live portion.  Bravo!

  1. Hey Rick,

Congratulations on your promotion to purple belt!  Some slick combinations in there!  Again, it is awesome to see the individuality coming out in the purple belt demonstrations which have been posted.  I am definitely pumped for class tonight!

Thank you again for your hospitality during my visit and I wish you all the best on your future journey.

  13. All—thanks for the kind words! It’s been an incredible journey, one that would have been impossible without your camaraderie, positive energy, and friendly competitiveness. Each one of you continually motivates me to keep improving. It’s a testament to our great academy, and a great sport. Cheers!

  15. “Slick” Rick Ellis!  As TJ says, “Everywhere I looked I saw more awesome.”  Your fluidity and tempo was even more noticeable in the vid.  Love the combos.  Dude…you will be missed.
