I am pleased to announce that the first BJJ app for the iPad has been released!  No Gi Essentials is now available for download, and I must say it came out better than I thought.  Optimized for the iPad, the compression is excellent, and the iPad is a much more convenient way to watch it than a DVD player.  Click here if you’d like to check it out yourself!

  1. Are iPads included with our academy membership?  grin

  2. Nice, looks really good.

I was recently passing through Bend but didnt have time to drop in and check out your academy.  I need to make a point to drive over sometime and take some classes.  Really enjoying your DVD’s.

  3. I bought the DVD’s but they don’t play in any of my Macs superdrives (tried 5 of them) - I usually watch all these on my Mac or iPad, so this just cut out the middleman (me) since I don’t have to rip ‘em [and no, I don’t give anyone copies]

I have to say that the best part of this series is the commentary while rolling section—what a fascinating “real time” perspective. I watch that section over and over.

Awesome stuff, Roy, thanks! Now I’ve also got a gift in the DVD’s for a friend’s birthday wink
